Job Title: Stump Grinder/Landscaper
Location: Edmonton, Alberta.
Pay Rate: $20- $28/hr dependent on experience and certifications. Paid bi-weekly with direct deposit.

About Us:
Trusty Tree Services is a locally employee owned, and operated company based in Sherwood Park, serving the Edmonton Area since 2017. We provide services such as tree pruning, tree removals, tree & shrub planting, hazard assessments, stump grinding, brush chipping, landscaping, and more. We are seeking a Stump Grinder/Landscaper that enjoys working as a team to support individual and company goals. We have our own shop, great yard space, good running equipment and gear. We are looking for someone for immediate hire, that’s able to jump on a crew and go. We offer competitive wages, overtime, and benefits! Role and Responsibilities:
- Valid Alberta's Drivers License.
- Able bodied to complete demanding, repetitive motions (walking, bending, lifting). This can be a labour-intensive job.
- Positive attitude, team player, strong work ethic, and ability to communicate with clients.
- Must own a working cell phone that is able to download apps.
- Steel toed boots are required. *Hi-vis shirts, coats and other safety gear are supplied.*
- Attend Daily Tailgate Meetings.
- Completion of High School.
- Safe operation of equipment and vehicles.
- Maintenance of all gear and equipment.
- Must be able to safely tow a trailer.
- Strong mechanical aptitude is an asset.
- Operating backpack blowers, sweeps, mowers, trimmers and hedgers.
- Safely perform Stump Grinder Operation after proper orientation.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly: Ensure equipment meets company safety standards. (conduct pre-trips, safety job site meetings, safe work practices)
- Fulfill work orders within the Sherwood Park and Edmonton Zone.
- Landscape Work: Proper grading, soil levelling, sod/tree/shrub/mulch installations.
- Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.
- Cut grass, rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, trim and shape hedges, and perform other maintenance duties as directed by crew lead.
